Proto-Galach

“Proto-Galach” is the label most commonly applied to the mixed Anglo-Slavic language which developed on space stations and in colonies established by Old Earth in the Sol System during the early period of humankind’s exploration of space (ca 11700 - 11000 BG).

Knowledge of Proto-Galach is fragmentary, due to the massive loss of information stored in ancient media and networks destroyed during the Butlerian Jihad. However, it is known that there were at least four main dialects of the language: Issian (or Cissar), Lunar, Martian/Stroidal, and Jovian/Ortian.

The largest collection of surviving Proto-Galach texts is the Ecaz Corpus.
